Your Ideal Pokémon Legends: Z-A Super Form Based on Your Astrological Sign

This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread excitement across the community. From the one-by-one unveiling of newcomers before the game's launch, to players developing firm opinions on the full lineup of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing unique designs that highlight their personalities, one thought came to mind: What's the best way to connect this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly selected for this fire sign, as both are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that evoke the most fear. But, a Mega Houndoom appears as constantly angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, known for being playful, cheerful, and impulsive. That's why Aries far more similar to Super Camerupt, which solely spews lava when provoked. Stay on the good side of either and benefit from a strong partner; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Similar to a devoted Bull, the reliable Heracross species, whether in its regular and Mega form, has assisted many players in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, both the Pokémon and a Bull are also battle-oriented, and – whether it's their companion or a strong opinion – will defend their side to the end. The thing about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed love of treats. Several past Pokédex entries mention their craving for sweet sap and how it uses its horn to collect it all, which is true Taurus energy.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Observe this absolute royalty. It's impossible to tell me this Pokémon is not the life of any gathering, offering an endless fountain of chatter to those who wants to listen. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly easy to envision Mega Medicham mesmerizing an whole Wild Zone with their stories. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its capacity to predict an opponent's next moves, which seems quite similar to a socially-savvy Twins.

The Crab – Super Manectric

The Crab is widely regarded as the most emotional member of the zodiac, a passionate symbol famous for often becoming wrapped up in their feelings. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “tremendous amount of energy, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to completely manage,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab emotional outburst. It is also known for its capability to make a storm cloud over its very self – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is likely to do, it’s spoil their own parade.

Leo – Mega Starmie

Oh, did you think I was planning to select Pyroar for the lion of the zodiac? Besides the reality that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is obviously Super Starmie, the star whose gams just became an internet sensation for being extremely glamorous (or terrifying, depending on your preference). Fans couldn’t look away from the violet sea star, and that’s exactly the identical vibe a Leo offers to the table. This Pokémon is also rumored to be broadcasting radio waves from its red core out into space, and it’s typical of a Lion to be staging a show, even if for aliens.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Maiden is ideally encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with constant digestive issues. The sign famous for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected across this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a perpetually shocked face like a Virgo when you inform them you don’t have a 401(k), to its upside-down visage that’s just like the symbol a Virgo sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” instead of creating a strategy.

Libra – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, sensitive creature, who employs the feelers on its auditory organs to detect how people are emotionally by their pulse. Always empathetic – occasionally to a detriment – and striving to maintain the peace, there are many Libras who would likely appreciate Super Audino's skills. However, to be frank, it would likely just make them stress more about others.

Scorpio – Super Banette

Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly sad backstory: Abandoned as a toy, it became sentient through sheer resentment and vowed revenge on its previous caretaker. Per the official info, Mega Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpio loves cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal match with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly putting on a show. As a Archer personally, the number of times I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly small entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its description even notes how it “flexes to show off its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Archer match I can imagine.

The Goat – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the power to predict disasters ahead of time? That gives the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who often consistently believe they’re correct. Interestingly, similar to a visionary Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute initial Super Form that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the ground floor of the Mega trend.

Aquarius – Mega Chandelure

Aloof air sign Aquarius is arguably the non-flame placement that is most like a flame symbol – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are numerous memes about the Archer and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s double Ghost/Fire category fits seamlessly with this, and the Mega’s general daunting presence is also extremely Aquarius. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “draws in negative energy and transforms it into strength.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
