The Covent Garden Hotel's Sake Martini – Recipe

To try something unique, sample this refined martini-inspired drink. This beverage is airy, scented and drinkable, and pairs nicely with a few chunks of parmesan.

Sake Martini

Makes a single portion

30ml gin – opt for a crisp gin variety

15ml Lillet Blanc – an aromatic French aperitif wine

15ml sake – a light, medium-bodied one, ideally

Combine the gin, Lillet Blanc, and sake in a cocktail shaker, toss in plenty of ice cubes and stir for 30 seconds to chill well. Strain into a well-chilled martini glass and serve.
