Defiant Nancy shows no fear of dismissal yet supporters display wrath following derby defeat.
The under-pressure manager insisted he did not fear dismissal, claiming, “I believe we are very near to things turning around,” even after edging perilously close to the exit with a comprehensive setback against their arch-rivals.

“The level we had at times was really, really, really high. That is a fact. And I would not say that if it was untrue. Therefore, when it comes to wins, I noted this is the same story. That’s why I believe we are really close to getting it right. Right now: small things.”
“We produced a lot of encouraging signs that we did, once more. But now is sustaining it. My message would not be if it was not the case. This is why I am convinced we’re going to be able to get back on track.”
Röhl’s Cautious Outlook
Danny Röhl played down talk of a title charge in spite of what seemed like a huge result. “Step by step, so we can develop something here,” he said. “The faith in the group is excellent.”
