Daughter of Ex- South African Leader Jacob G Zuma Refutes Terror Charges as Legal Proceedings Starts
The daughter of ex- South African Head of State Jacob Zuma has pleaded not guilty to terror accusations at the start of her legal proceedings in the coastal city of Durban.
The defendant, forty-three, is being tried over comments she posted on online platforms several years back during fatal demonstrations in South Africa that came after the arrest of her dad.
A week of chaos in various areas of the country in mid-2021, including theft and arson, caused at least three hundred deceased and led to damage worth an projected $2.8bn (£2.2 billion).
She has been alleged of inciting this violence and faces allegations of provocation to commit terror-related activities and public disorder.
